Sorry, just a little rant/expelling my anxiety whilst alone and working from home!

I am waiting on a phone call from a dog rescue to see if the dog I’ve fallen in love with is still available.

Oh, she's gorgeous!!

We had a rescue doggie 4 years ago. She is without doubt the best thing to happen to us. We love her so much and we feel grateful every single day that we were able to give her the life she deserves! She's the best girl and so loving and playful. I can see how happy and grateful she is in her eyes every day. All these people having mongrel fashion pups that are just over bred - please look at a rescue - so many fabulous dogs need loving homes.

@MidnightConstellation It is called Many Tears. They specialise in rescuing dogs from puppy farms so often have puppies if that is would you’d prefer. They are also one of the few places that rehome to homes with children. Super quick process! Less than a week from application to collection, and even that could have been sooner if I’d wanted.

How is your other dog feeling? At first ours was really happy, then the joke started to wear thin and for a few days he was walking around with a constant scowl and being grumps, but not for long, all good now😁,

@Problemoumo Haha, similar here. My first beagle (Lottie) loved her at the foster home but was a bit surprised when she came home with us. She did not want to share her bed but was happy to have her sleeping in a different bed next to her. Are your dogs good friends now?

Oh yes @BeagIes thanks for asking, they're absolutely fine, two males so a little territorial at times but it never gets bad. They love each other really, the bossy one (small dog) treats his elder (huge rescue dog) like his child, grooms him, shows him how to be naughty. They love the companionship, it's ideal for a rescue to have a 'sibling' sometimes.
