Do you seriously think there is any danger??? ITV lawyers and insurance company will have made sure the ropes are secure and there is absolutely no danger. Can you imagine the lawsuits if anyone died!!! It’s super safe and he is a total wuss for chickening out - he knew what the show entailed before signing the contract. I assume it’s all part of his wider game plan - probably something about being scared at the start but then “finding his true self and his bravery” in the jungle…

No respect for wildlife and cruel. No way would I watch that, and its going to be looked back on (sooner the better) in a very dark light. A bit like Elephants smoking cigarettes on 1970s TV.

I think that the three people who 'walked the plank' could be traumatised for life. I couldn't do it.
