What is this bump on the corner of my eye?

So had this kind of bump/ spot on the inner corner of my eye, on the skin but feels too hard to be a normal spot. First noticed it last month. I tried to get a pic but it’s quite small so don’t know if it will show up well on the pic. It feels a little irritating but not painful. I’m just wondering if it’s a sty… I had one as a child on my eyelid and had to have it removed with an operation. Anyone else had this or know what it is?

Not a stye - I think a milia too. Aka a whitehead.

I didn’t realise milia could grow so close to the eye😮… Will it go on its own or do I need to go to the GP or something to have it removed??

Yes! I am 53 yrs and had exactly the same thing. I contemplated going to the Dr's. Mine became quite big and I thought it was not very nice. I didn't go to the clinic but did bathe it in hottish water. Around 3 days later, I scratched it and it came out. Just like a blocked pore might. Nothing to worry about but may be with you for some time.

Use a hot damp flannel as a compress over the eye. Keep it there for 5 or 10 minutes each day. It will help unblock the pore.

I had the same in opposite corner. Followed the hot compress advice and it scratched off a few days later too.
