Family court child arrangement order

Hello lovelies,
I would like to ask some advice. My husband soon to be divorced was using me for UK Visa, so he has filed a child arrangement order to the court when I have never stopped him from seeing his kids and never will. He has only done this so it can support his immigration plea as he as leave until March 2023.

He has said so many lies about me (violent,threatening) when it is a complete version of him. He is a narcissist.

I wanted to ask, I had the first telephone consultation with Cafcass in August to get some basic information . I have court next week (online), will it be final or will there be a next hearing? As I have never stopped him from seeing his kids and never will.

He’s wasting his time. Judge will be able to see through it unless there is abuse or some other reason.

I’m not sure he is wasting his time - if the judge agrees it’s in the children’s best interests to see the children (regardless if you’ve stopped him or not) then he can use the child arrangement order with a contact schedule to prove to the home office that he has children in the UK that he has regular contact with and therefore wishes to stay.

Is he trying to say they should live with him? I think the judge will see through his lies of abuse if he has no substantial evidence, and if the children live with you now then thats likely to continue. The CAO with weekend contact or however frequent will be used as evidence for his application and will most likely be strong enough to grant him the visa.

He said he wants the child arrangement order just for the home office to see that he sees his kids on a regular basis but he will not come and see the children.

Since he left the marital home 3 weeks ago, I’ve been calling him to come and see his kids but he said he can’t until after court which sounds weird to me as 3 weeks is a long time not to see your children and you’d miss them.

But let’s see how it goes next week.
