I got a coach ticket on Thursday with 4 other mates.

This morning we had 14 groups trying of which 9 were successful.

Do they give preference to people who've booked before? Someone I know goes every year without fail yet others have been trying to book for years and unsuccessful.

DS got one, he said it was quite stressful and his payment failed twice before he got one, he has managed to get a ticket every year it had been on though for about the last ten years, before that he volunteered and did things like wristbands as he was at university and hadn't much money.

We got through on one device, we had about 8 set up. It’s a numbers game. The website kept crashing this morning. Three devices kicked us out of site, and we thought we’d lost the tickets as it crashed but they took the payment and got confirmation later.

Our group of 6 got them…but it was a brutal sale…..we had 22 people trying for us….one got thru at 0910 ….entered regs then got thrown out x 3 times before being sent back to holding pages….2 got thru to payment page then got thrown out….the sold out messages came thru, we thought that was it….,then at 1025 we got the emails ….we checked my friends bank and the payment had been made …,,we didn’t get a sniff on Thursday though

No…the person probs has shit hot internet and state of the art PC….or just very lucky…..saying that I’ve been since 2009….got tickets in resale twice…sometimes coach ticket sales…only in 2017 did we miss out completely …and that year we volunteered instead with oxfam

Out of 10 separate groups going 1 group got tickets.we tried on a few devices. I’ve not found it so difficult other years. We tried on Thursday for the coach tickets didn’t get them although had got through to payment page then it crashed
