18 month countdown: how to make it go faster?

I don't want to go into detail, but I have a very stressful 'project' of sorts, which will take 18 months. It's going to be the hardest thing I have ever done and will take every ounce of patience I possess. How can I make the time go faster, given I will not be having fun? Buying a large wall planner and ticking off each day for sure. Any other suggestions please?

Oh that's hard!

Definitely cross the days off as you go.

Can you book to go away right at the end of project for some R&R? Might not help it go faster but at least it's something to look forward to. And sounds like you'll need it by then.

Build tiny pleasures into every day. Whatever makes you happy, walks in nature, episodes of a favourite series, hot chocolate..

Good suggestions. It will end in summer 2024, so I can plan a holiday.
