Can anyone recommend a website or shop (we are in south west England) for buying proper motorcycle leathers with armour for DS for his Christmas present?

i dont live down south so cant recommend a shop but can recommend hein gerrick leathers they are not cheap but exceptional quality and stylish too and get seperate jacket and trousers as the all in one suits look good but when he gets off the bike they are still all in one leathers so in the summer roasting

Are hein gericke still going ? Thought they went bust years ago

There's no longer a Hein Gericke shop in Bristol (my nearest city).

didnt know they werent producing leathers any more sorry i only see second hand ones as i fundraise on ebay for a cat charity and they sell well mine are german ones that i bought at a rally

I recently tried a denim motorcycle jacket from TM that a visitor recommended. I've used it much, but the stuff is excellent.

My husband uses sportsbikeshop and j&s.
He doesn't wear leathers though, but the textiles that are waterproof and have removal insulation.

I think it's all Oxford gear, with a hjc helmet. He even got custom ear guards. He commutes on his bike everyday so needs to be warm and dry.
