Brushing my teeth and see a tiny beige sort of transparent bug crawling on the wall, googled it (big mistake) and it says book lice. Then saw they are common in new builds (house is 12 months old) so adds up. But I can't find any more anywhere?! Could it just be the one?

Infestations, pests, bugs are just my biggest nightmare and the thought of my house having these is making me want to cry.

Lol! That was a loud silence 😁

No idea about book lice, but I told myself that ddogs fleas were contained to his person, until one happily skipped across my face one morning in bed. I ended up using a bug bomb that does the whole house.

I really wouldn't worry unless you have important books. They are only a pest to museums and archives and are generally an indicator of humid conditions. Just have a clean in the area you found them and try to keep humidity down by opening windows after showers etc. Don't keep magazines or books on or close to the floor in humid areas as they are a food source.

Ohh is that what those were in my last house! We had them too but only the odd one in the en-suite bathroom. I grew to think of them as little friends Blush
