it is sad, but it’s also not surprising unfortunately. I believe Nick and his twin both had restraining orders against him, because he’d threatened them both extensively.

it shows money and fame, especially at a young age, do not equal happiness. Hopefully he is at peace now.

@InterestQ I have vague memories (which I admit might be wrong) of Aaron 'guest featuring' in the Backstreet Boys for some songs so maybe the OP has a similar memory.

I just saw this news, very sad. He was clearly troubled for a long time, I looked at his booking photo and he looked closer to 50 than 34. Struggled with addiction and other issues for years, it's a shame things didn't improve for him.

I knew he had a lot of issues with addiction, drugs and his mental health.
Whenever he was interviewed you could see he had issues- but I was still shocked to read of his passing, and 34 is just so young.

That's very sad indeed. I remember him vividly. My kids were fans when he was popular in the noughties. They will be in shock when they hear this.

Same age as me. We listened to him growing up and in smash hits. Super sad! He has a 1 year old too.

He inherited serious mental health issues from his mother. According to an interview he conducted three days ago she had started drinking again and has a year to live (it’s on the No Jumper channel on YouTube). His sister was bipolar and took her own life. He has been heavily medicated for years and was in a constant battle to remain stable.

Was he an addict? My only memories of him are as a nascent singer when he was a tween.

Poor man. He seemed to have a lot of childhood trauma. I hope he can be at peace.

I'm actually seeing BSB this week, so watching to see if it goes ahead, obviously it's understandable if it doesn't.

So sad, his twin sister died of a drug overdose a few years ago. From what I've have read, the whole family have had issues with drink and drugs and mental health including Nick. I'm not sure what their upbringing was like but I actually read his twin suffered from mental health and he accused her of sexually abusing him 😔

That wasn’t his twin who did. Angel is his twin and still alive. Leslie was a couple years older and she was the one who died and allegedly raped him but I think this was all lies
