Does anyone cheat on mumsnet with netmums?

I just wandered into netmums for the first time, it is quite mad over there. Top chat was about “do you smack your kids” with everyone saying yes!! Sorry mumsnet, I’ll never cheat again.

No because it’s shite and even worse for obvious troll posts.

I used to only do NM, then it got really crazy and I came over here and now I only do MN. I am literally made for monogamy.

I really don’t like the way the site is laid out.

I've not used it since they got rid of the app. The site is unusable. Threads that show on their front page turn out to be from years ago.

I used to use it but there is some pretty weird stuff on there.There’s a lot of very obvious trolling on NM ime and not the relatively harmless kind. Once I was on a thread started by a lonely ftm and someone came on saying Oh you poor thing, pm me your address maybe me you and your baby son can go for a walk in the local park. It was so creepy. The mod team had to come on a couple of times and ask posters where they were so they could report them to the police for child abuse. Needless to say they just stopped posting.
Plus at the time, there was one particular poster who was constantly on the baby and toddler boards who was a total pia and it put me right off. So I switched to MN and never looked back.

Wait they would admit they were abusing their kids? Crazy!

I wondered what had happened to it! 15 years ago with my first baby, it was a pretty good site! Now there's absolutely nothing useful on there at all and the only recent stuff on there is total shit and wank. Did it go bust or something?

I used to use it years ago. But I posted about feeling suicidal once and they phoned the police to my mums house!

No, they didn't admit it but it was just so suspicious. One of them was asking something about how serious is it if their toddler may have drank some bleach, they were afraid to take them to the emergency room because they had already had a lot of involvement from ss and the kid had lots of bruises and other injuries but they were all accidents. They seemed like they were probably American. The other thread was similar.

No, I started on NM when I was pregnant with dd who is now 12. I read a thread where they were properly slagging off MNers.
I came for a nosy and never went back.

Netmums was my first parenting forum.

Mumsnets homepage looked boring to me when I was younger so I didn't used to cone on here.

It is more focused on parenting. No one cares about spelling and grammar, which is refreshing.

It can get racist and anti Islamic, even if someone was posting about Muslim baby name ideas.

There isn't the banter and humour that you find on mumsnet.

I discovered mumsnet when I read about a women who put a tracking device in her husbands car to see if he was cheating. After that thread I was hooked.

I only go on net mums now if I get a new pm which I havent had for a long time.

Used NM for years, used to hear how "scary" and "brutal" MN was, but there's a reason it gets called Nethuns, MN much more my cup of tea. Plus the feminism was a dirty word over there.
