Annual leave - does this sound right?

I’ve just started a part time job. I’m working 18.75 hours a week. I’ve been sent an annual leave form and have been given 50 hours which I need to take before March 2023. Does this sound right? It seems like a lot to me?

I will check with the job, but the manager isn’t in until Tuesday.

Does it include bank hols over Christmas period?

I just quickly calculated it as 43.75 hours based on a 37.5 FT and assuming bare minimum. I'd speak to HR/manager but it sounds reasonable.

I believe you’re entitled to a minimum 5.6 weeks paid leave per year, sounds like the holiday calendar at your work runs to the tax year, so there’s 5months left.m (nov-mar).
5/12ths of 5.6 is 2.33 weeks of holiday till the end of the year.
2.33 weeks at 18.75 hours a week is 44 hours, so sounds reasonable.
