Childcare costs please help

My ex is a high earner but since we broke up has been awful and withdrawn promises he made ie paying for childcare or even paying half. I get 370 a month from him but my maternity finishes soon snd childcare is going to be 1200 a month. I earn 2300. I don’t know what to do, losing my job could mean I never get back into it so just packing it in isn’t ideal either. So drained.

You could use the child maintenance service also to ensure your recieve the correct amount you are entitled to from your ex.

Check if you have a universal credit entitlement to help with childcare. The threshold is surprisingly high.. If not, check out tax free childcare.. If you aren't eligible for one you will be eligible for the other.
