Good morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just enjoying my first cuppa of the day, in peace. The washer's on already & there's last night's pots staring at me from the side so I'll wash those soon.

We're going for a wander at a local shopping outlet that has an artisan market on today, so I'm getting the girls up soonish. After we've looked round there, we'll probably head to Asda in the hopes there are some hot dog rolls left for tonight.

Later on, we're going to light the burning bin, set off a few fireworks & toast marshmallows 😋

If I get chance I want to finish pinning a new zip into dd2's backpack and finish the tail of a crochet dino. Dd1 will revise for Monday's GCSE mock exam, and dd2 will probably Minecraft with her friend in the Netherlands.

Morning All. We're all still in PJs here this morning, even the dog doesn't look like he's keen to get out this morning. It's very grey and damp out there.

First quiet weekend here in a while with us all at home this evening. Not much planned today either, with just the standard trips to and from dance and parties for the kids. We went to a fireworks display last night, so planning a night in watching Strictly this evening.

Been up ages cleaning cause I'm such a slattern and my friends will be round later.
Washing machine on at full pelt as DS1 is back from uni for a week.
Just ironed my new jumper dress as I'm off out to a cosy country pub for lunch with my friends,just got to get some shopping and collect the fabulous cupcakes I ordered from the local cake shop.
DH outside cleaning the windows,path etc in the rain!
Hopefully he will entertain DS2 today.

We had a late get up and now little one is napping in his chair which has scuppered my plans to pop into town for a bit this morning so I will wait until after lunch now. I think we're going to give Bonfire night a miss, this little one has only been with me a few days and is blind with a developmental delay and I have no idea how they will respond to all the noises of fireworks plus they are a wheelchair user and the ground around here is still fairly wet so could make the whole affair hard to negotiate.

I am sat watching the birds on the feeders while small one naps and every so often one of the long tailed tits comes and taps on the window as if to say "hello!". The washing is on and the coffee is drunk.

6am dog walk with a beautiful sunrise then went to the yard, mucked put, rode and swept the while yard. Now suoervid8ng DD and husband to take dog for her big walk so hopefully they will be gone 2 hours. Popped the coffee on and ready for a sit down, eat some of DDs birthday cake before starting on some housework.
This afternoon will be back to the yard to sort afternoon stables, watch some show jumping as there is a comp on then nip to Lidl for Strictly snacks. Will probably pop a sausage casserole on then open bottle of prosecco and snuggle with DD and dog.

Had baby granddaughter for the night so DD could have her first proper night off since she was born. DS has ASD and is obsessed with his transformers so the little one has been treated to various lectures and demonstrations of them while I got all the washing done ( reflux monster !)
feeling a bit knackered and hoping DD is well rested by early afternoon so I can hand bubba back and get a cheeky nap in before going to a firework display later . Have a tonne of work to do for Uni and a business plan to make for a project which will probably be what I get up to late into the night . Sundays involve roast dinner and a lot of TV. But we’ve missed out on swimming today so I might drag the boy to the pool tomorrow instead.

Watching England trying to lose the cricket at the mo 🤨 Then going to see the gymnastics in Liverpool with a friend which will be fab - went with DD the other night and inspired to go again 😊
When I get back, DH will be out so I can have a wine and a bit of peace
DD and DS2 are both working today

So far walked the dog & taken DD to football. Currently enjoying a coffee with the dog lying on me. Need to go and choose some blinds and paint as we have and an extension done & that's nearly finished. Also need to try to wash the cat as he's not well & he's been bleeding all over his legs (has a leision on his lip which keeps bleeding & when he sleeps curled up he seems to bleed onto his legs). I've never washed him before. I'm not expecting that to be easy. Bit grim weather wise today so probably catch up with some chores.

DD was up through the night being sick so we've had a lazy lazy morning of TV and simple foods. She's going for a nap soon and I think I will too!
Got loads of cleaning and work to do, but it'll wait.

I feel guilty being lazy , life is so hectic in the week though!

Just been to ds1's football match, dh went to ds2's football tournament, dd1 has just left for work, dh is walking the dog while I have a brew trying to warm up.
At 11.30 we are all going to watch dd2's football match.
After that no plans. Dh and I are getting over COVID so still feeling a bit rough. I might tackle some ironing if I can be bothered.
Take away and tv tonight.

Off to the pub at lunchtime! Our local has reopened and just wanted to show some support. Usually trot into town for Saturday Morning coffee as our weekend treat but can't do both.

Morning all! Just enjoying tea and toast. Dh is asleep upstairs as he works nights and my ds had a mate stay over last night. They aren't up yet. Not sure when his friend is getting picked up because I'm taking ds to the hatdressers for 12! Their band has a gig on Thursday and he has long hair so he wants it tidying. He sees the long hair specialist at a local salon. He feels self conscious going in (he's just 17) but apparently less so when I'm there! Then it's shopping, see mum this afternoon. I might take some lunch round for us. Hopefully chill this afternoon with my book. Tonight will do scouse for tea, fireworks and sparklers after that then it's Strictly.
