Has anyone had any experience with Cafcass?
I recently found out my daughter is not my Husbands and is the result of a rape that happened.
The person who raped me took me to court for access to my daughter and I finally had the courage to speak up about what happened to me and gain support from domestic abuse and rape charities.
The finding of fact went in his favour and they have stated i have fabricated everything and I am distraught.
Cafcass have also just produced their report and which contains lie after lie and twisting of my words.
They have also stated i need a psychological assessment due to being diagnosed with PTSD as a result of the rapes, anxiety and depression.
They are trying to make out Im an unfit mother. NYAS are also involved and again are lying about how contact is progressing stating he is able to manage yet last weekend after he had my daughter alone for 30 minutes he called me to have me collect her as she was crying and distressed and would not settle.
My daughter is on the ASD pathway and considers her father a stranger. We have worked on stranger danger and she has been told what to do if a stranger was to approach her. Unfortunately she has reacted this way in the presence if him which they are now stating I am trying to alienate him which is not the case.
He has called me a liar to my child who has come home and attacked me as a result. Yet there is no mention of this with any reports.
Does any one have any advice on how to navigate this?
