Hi, I’m looking at a part-time teaching support TA role, it says pay is scale 3.

Does anyone know what amount this is please (obviously it will be pro-rata for part-time and I think you only get paid for something like 43 weeks a year) thanks

If you work about 25 hours per week it will end up being about 12k per annum spread evenly.

You should be paid for

38 teaching weeks
1 inset week
5 holiday weeks
1.6 back holiday weeks

So a total of 45.6 weeks

Thank you, it’s for 15hrs pw to start with but they said the hours would probably increase

If you Google "My Council Pay Scales" you should get a list. It's about 19k round me, and think they are similar nationwide.
Consider, the pay band is very likely to increase by £1925, as the pay rise from April22 has just been agreed.

And just to make sure it's clear, that is a FT salary. You are right it will be adjusted for TTO, and reduced hours.
