Blimey, quick passport renewal!

I'm shocked, I'd heard they were taking 10 weeks!

I did my renewal online on 21st October, sent off the old passport same day, and I've just had an email telling me my new passport has been printed and will be despatched within the next couple of days.

Has anyone had this recently? Sounds like their system has picked up again.

we Just renewed DH and DD passports, both took 10 days.

Mine was quick too.

My kid's first passport came within 2 weeks and my renewal was a couple days later.

Did my renewal at the end of August. Forms completed online on Saturday evening, old passport posted on Sunday.

New passport arrived on the Thursday (5 days later).

Hoping mine will not take long. Did it a few days ago as need it for one of those DRB checks or whatever they are called..

Just got mine back took 8 days using online renewal

That's ridiculously slow! 10 or 15 days !!

DH & I did our applications on Monday.
His arrived yesterday (so 4 days), and mine arrived in the post 20mins ago (so 5 days, or really 4.5 days).
