I've been selling on vinted for the last month and sold around 20 things with no issues until today. I posted a parcel on Saturday with Evri which was supposedly delivered on Wednesday evening. The buyer has now reported that she hasn't received it and I've had an email from vinted to say they are looking into it.
Do I need to do anything in the mean time? It gives me the option to proceed and refund but should I just wait to see what vinted say first? Obviously I don't want to be out of pocket but I don't expect the buyer to be either if she genuinely hasn't received it (she has no reviews so might be chancing it but who knows). It does say I should upload proof such as a picture of the parcel with the address on but I didn't take a picture of that. The only thing I have is the card that the shop gave me with the date on which doesn't seem like enough proof as it could be for any parcel surely ?
I've heard stories on here from sellers saying they've had to refund buyers before and basically suck up the cost which I hope isn't true in this case. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
