Hi I last had an interview 100 years ago but have one next week in a secondary school for the back office? I usually wear dresses to work, maybe coloured tights etc but should this be more formal? Any advise appreciated thank you 😊

I usually opt for a dress too….though I wasn’t successful in my last two interviews…hopefully not related to clothing!

I’d err on the side of conservative. Your regular dress with a neutral tight would most likely be fine. You never know the bias of the interviewer so why give them a reason to think you are a bit too kooky for them 😀

Thanks both! Valid points x

You could wear a jacket over the dress to look more formal?

It's better to go more formal than expected than less formal than expected.

I'd go for a blouse or shirt and trousers or a skirt. Or a dress with a blazer jacket type thing.
