Vinted - socks

Stay with me. Was selling a bundle of ski socks on Vinted, loads of interest, sold. I had three weirdos messaging me if I would sell used unwashed socks. Obvious answer was no, but then though maybe for a motive. Would you?! I'm def not a troll, been here forever!

My 22 year old daughter we t to uni and got a 2:1 which I’m very proud of. She was abroad during summer but is now at home and works in a near by hotel. My partner and I see jobs online for which she has this degree in but she refuses to apply for any of them and goes off in a mood if I ask her. She spends most of her time in her room. No bf and not many friends. I’ve told her I’m not paying for any for her and I’ve just added her to the council tax. So it’s more money to fork out. I’ve asked for rent which she gives me but she has no interest in getting a proper job for which she’s trained in. She can’t drive and that’s her excuse for not applying jobs. We have a train station 5 minutes away. She hates where we live and wants to move away. This is really stressing me out. She’s so sulky. I thought she’d grown out of all this. I’ve just literally said I’d help her with an application so she ignored me and walked out the room and now she’s just left to go to the gym without even saying bye. Please can anyone give me any help. Her dad isn’t around. My partner stays quite a lot and they do get on. Thanks.

If you could set up the transaction via Vinted so they don’t get your address you’ve nothing to lose. There is a demand as such for used shoes, socks and underwear but I wouldn’t want them having my address

Theres a massive market for it. 20 years ago my friend used to buy packs of cheap knickers from primark for a quid and make an absolute fortune selling them on.

@ScarierThanBoo Isn't this how it starts though, something as innocent as selling used socks for a joke or a dare and before you know it you're selling used knickers and it just snowballs into an onlyfans account?

As someone who actually had to make money by selling sex, I started by “whoring myself out” rather than selling used socks online. Always nice to know how people judge you right off though.

OP it’s up to how you feel. People wanting to buy socks will be wanking over them. If you’re ok with that then that’s up to you 🤷‍♀️

Depends how you feel about it. It’s probably easy money. But how do you feel about some random guy wanking over your socks? 😳

Make sure the people you sell to can’t get any of your details like name and address, you don’t want to attract stalkers …
