A friends of mine recently said (she included) that a lot of people she knows has had eye infections.
Since then a number of work colleagues, my brother, my DH, my DD have all had quite bad eye infections. The only two possibly connects was my DH and DD.
Just wondered if anyone else has noticed/experience this in the last few months?

I know a couple of people who have had serious eye infections since working from home. Apparently it’s due to excess screen time, you blink less often when looking at a screen so your eyes get dry and are not ‘cleaned’ frequently enough. When you are in an office your eyes generally get more screen breaks.

Bizarrely yes! I have never had an eye infection in my life but I currently have one following a really bad cold/flu (tested negative for covid) and my DC also have one but luckily DH has managed to avoid it. Apparently it's been going round DC school with the cold/flu bug abd obviously it's very contagious so easily spread!

Do you mean like conjunctivitis?

Incidentally I know 2 people with eye infections that is not conjunctivitis.
