Three days in Brighton what to do

My lovely friend and I have a trip coming up 21-24 Nov (Mon-Wed 3 nights) for her 40th and are looking for recommendations of things to do/see. I haven't been to Brighton since I was a child so I'm really excited.

We like things like comedy, live music, modern art, cinema, pubs and pub quizzes. We are staying centrally in Kemp town.

Also appreciate a suggestion if there is a day spa anywhere near or a good place to both book in for a treatment on one of the days. Thank you!

Go to The Yellow Book in York Place (just by St Peter's church) - it's a quirky little Steampunk-themed bar with a varied and welcoming clientele and staff. They used to do a quiz on Weds evenings, but think they've stopped that now, which is a shame. Komedia in the North Laine for comedy shows. I think there's a day spa at the Brighton Harbour Hotel - there's also a good restaurant there which does lovely seafood.

Thanks! Already checked Komedia listings and there doesn't seem to be anything taking my fancy on those nights. Will check out the bar though that sounds cool, and the harbour spa
