Year 3 residential and bed wetting

My DS is year 3 rarely wets the bed, but does very, very occasionally - when tired or stressed. Maybe once every 4 months. I'm worried about him wetting the bed on a residential trip. Any advice? It's not until next year but Im worried for him and don't want to add extra stress to him or the teachers. Is there something I can get from the doctors?

Please talk to the teachers. They will have experience of this! My DS has recently been on his year 6 residential and occasionally wets. The teachers were fab about it and really discreet. They've honestly seen it all before.

Mine had this too. He'd started on desmopressin by the time of the residential, but I got him Pjama shorts (basically waterproof on the inside but look normal on the outside) just in case. I think they were via Amazon. They took the fear away for him, and all was well.

Agree - this is the sort of thing the teachers would like to know in advance so they can be prepared. Just like if they have a tendence to be travel sick or anything else. And hopefully all will be fine!
