Best Christmas family game

Family including six adults and five children 3-14 are with us again for a few days over Christmas. Any ideas for games to drop into the usual mix of food, telly, toys and walks? No enforced jollity will be involved, they already love bingo, charades and board games in smaller groups, we'll have the Wii, jigsaws out and their own gadgetry, just looking for something different to do together.

We enjoy Scattegories in teams so the younger ones can be paired with older ones.

Also Absolute Balderdash and Articulate but those won’t work so well with a preschooler.

A post-it note stuck to your forehead to play "guess who you are".

Heads up is fun.
so is that game, is it called shout it out? You have a mouth guard on and your team member has to guess what you are saying. It’s a bit unhygienic so only play with close family 😂

www.boardgamebliss.com/products/bluff you don't need to buy the game, dice and non see through beakers will do.

werwolf is dD(10)'s favourite at the moment but you need a lot of players to play it, doesn't work with 4 apparently so I've never tried it boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/255356/werwolfe

Another vote for Werewolf. My dc always love playing that when we’ve got extended family here. Ageing grandparents and humourless uncles managed to join in and have fun too.

Bopit. You hear some music notes and have to copy them. Gets harder as it goes round.

Consequences

The fishbowl game (not a game you have to buy, just look up the rules and use scraps of paper)
If you like Werewolf, The Resistance is better (it’s called Mafia in the US) as it’s the same principle but without a separate narrator and nobody is eliminated, all play until the end. (I have the card set now but we played for a long time with the picture cards from a standard set of playing cards.)
For groups of 4 or fewer who can’t play werewolf/resistance/mafia could try Coup.
