Smart meter - home unit Secure Pip 500

Hello,

I had a smart meter installed when I was with Scottish power. It came with a secure pip 500 display device to check on usage. I then changed to EDF and the unit topped working and I had to submit my own meter readings until last year. Anyway, was having a clear out and came across the home device and plugged it in. It has connected and picking up my tariff but the bill figure is showing as estimate ? Any ideas if this will ever show me my usage as I go? I have found a user guide online but pretty useless and nothing about why it’s giving me an estimated figure. (There is no way I have used £16.06 and £7.86 in 2 days )

Don't have that meter but.
We had to have an EDF engineer out to do a reset in ours, couldn't be done by consumer.

Could that be the monthly amount?

@mrsjimhopper Thanks, can’t be monthly as it’s only the 2nd of the month and I’ve not had heating on! Will see if anything changes as month goes on. Don’t really want to bother them at moment

Check you bill period as it might not run from the first of ten month maybe.

Ours is £7.66 fkr the week and 16.23 for the current ''month'
