CURRYS ONLINE - DO NOT BUY!

I'm outraged. Having placed an order with Currys online using our gift vouchers totalling £270 and having received confirmation of order with date of delivery confirmed only to be cancelled due to a so called glitch. Have been fighting for over a month to get a refund. Am constantly fobbed off when contacting Customer care via Twitter with endless promises that it was being sorted out then of course nothing happens. Contacted the CEO. Received a response from a Georgia Robinson who told me that we would receive our refunded vouchers through the post within 3-5 days. That was 2 weeks ago. Nothing arrived. Told lie after lie and now being ignored. Reported them to trading standards after seeing posts on FB about the same problem. It seems this so called glitch is an excuse they have been using since lockdown. Customers placing online orders, orders cancelled due to this so called glitch and customers not getting their refund. This is deceitful behaviour. They are basically stealing money from customers. Do not buy from them. There is something obviously financially wrong with Currys too. Do not trust them, do not order from them, even if it's a click and collect! They will take your money, you go to collect and item not there. They will say it was an error/mistake/out of stock.

That's terrible. I expect they're earning lots of interest on customers retained money as well.

Also DO NOT USE APPLIANCES DIRECT due to a broken fridge freezer to call and sort this fiasco out has cost me £65 in mobile phone charges as it's a premium rate number ...
