Where to eat near London Dungeons

We are taking DD and some friends out for her birthday on Saturday and need somewhere for dinner. When we lived there our go to in that part of town would be Wahaca.

Is there anywhere else that is cool f9r 12 year olds but nice for adults too, not mega expensive and has plenty of vegan and veggie options

Gabriel's wharf Restaurant (the wharf)

What about having a mooch around Borough market? It's just across the road and there are plenty of options for even the pickiest eaters!

Look at The Table cafe in Southwark. Delicious.

Thanks all, I did forget to say this would be for dinner. I think she would like Bao Borough but might be a bit adult. Would be good to stay away from chains, so will check out all the ideas

London Dungeons has moved FyI - it’s no longer in London Bridge but South Bank. About 10 minute walk away there’s Giraffe, Wagamama and a , Le Pain Quotidien of others.

Talipesmum · 02/11/2022 12:13

We went along south bank to Wagamama last time we were there. There’s also the food stalls behind the RFH but that might be a bit casual for bday lunch.

DialsMavis · 02/11/2022 14:48

thanks @TheSnugglyDuckling I only found that out recently. Food stalls a good shout before we go in, I used to take DD semi regularly when she was little, so will be nice to reminisce

isn't there also a burger bar upstairs? I went there once yonks ago and if you like that kind of thing it was fine. (but i'd go to Wagamama, tbh)
