I had the copper coil (iud) fitted 3 weeks ago. I had a period immediately after it was fitted that lasted around 9 days, I've had light spotting and now it looks like another period is starting again already!!
Is this normal? I was aware some women experience spotting for the first few months after getting an iud fitted or irregular period /heavier periods. But I feel my period only just ended and I already have another one. I don't want a period every 2 weeks
When does this all settle down?
