Toddler refusing to eat unless it’s fruit or yogurt!

Hi everyone,

My son is almost 2 and up until about 18 months was a generally good eater.

However now, not only has he become rather fussy but he will only have a couple of bites of his food before asking for fruit or yogurt.

I know what he is asking for is relatively healthy but it is happening upon breakfast, lunch and dinner now and he cannot live off of fruit and yogurt?!

I have started to say no, not until he finishes his breakfast/lunch/dinner and to be fair he seems to understand and will take a couple more bites before asking again for his fruit/yogurt.

Should I just be stronger and outright refuse until the majority of what he is eating is gone?

He will absolutely refuse veg, he isn’t a meat fan either. He doesn’t eat potatoes (only chips!) so i’m kinda left with rice and pasta which is becoming annoying!

All suggestions welcome!
