Finally announced my second pregnancy today 🥲

After suffering losses (PCOS) we finally had DS in Feb 21. Discovered I was pregnant again in the summer (unplanned) and have had massive anxiety that we wouldn’t be lucky enough to have two successes in a row so been too scared to tempt fate by telling anyone.
Bump is getting very difficult to hide now so I’ve bitten the bullet and told family and close friends today and didn’t wear baggy clothes to work so shocked some colleagues! Baby is due end of January, so excited and terrified, keeping everything crossed it all goes smoothly from here.
I’ve kept away from this site recently (again thought it might tempt fate) but trying to get back to some normality now!

Thank you all very much 🥰
@fancyfrogs congratulations! What date are you due? I’m due 26th. I’m feeling pretty good thank you, bit of sickness early on but nothing for a while. How are you doing?

Many congratulations

I thought I did well (a long time ago now) not telling work till around 17 weeks.
I was definitely showing as it was 2nd baby but no one noticed. Once I announced it my bump seemed to pop right out! I would have waited longer but someone needed to know if I was doing the race for life and I had to confess I’d be like a weeble by that stage!

Thanks! I'm due 24th and also already have a little boy who will be nearly 2.5 by then and hoping he adapts well to being a big brother haha. Also feeling well thank you, feels like time is flying! Do you know if you're having a boy or girl or keeping it a surprise?

icecreamgirl94 · 01/11/2022 21:55

@onepieceoflollipop thank you 😊 My line manager knew because I had to tell them about time off for appointments etc but no one else had a clue apparently which I find hard to believe! I suppose it’s a good time of year to be wearing baggy jumpers but I didn’t today and my colleagues were all just saying “where the hell did that come from?”

@fancyfrogs we are keeping it a surprise like we did last time. What about you? I wondered if anyone knew enough about the nub theory to guess from the scan pic. I agree time is definitely flying, it’s quite scary!

Ah lovely 😊 we had a surprise last time but found out this time and have another boy on the way. I'm clueless with nub theories etc, never feel able to see anything clear enough to tell!

icecreamgirl94 · 02/11/2022 22:16

@fancyfrogs aww how lovely, we have a feeling this one is going to be another boy as well. I have no clue when it comes to nub theory, no idea what I’m looking for!
