Cleaner every other week... Anyone do this?

And if so, do you find it helpful? Which areas do you find need cleaning the most? I can't afford every week so any advice would be super helpful. Never had a cleaner before!

Yep, I do that! I put bleach on the toilets every day and clean kitchen surfaces but that's pretty much it! She dusts, hoover, mop, etc

I'm actually pretty good at cleaning, but I don't get round to things like skirting, deep cleaning, mopping regularly, etc. She's asked me to leave a list of things I want her to do in the 3 hours she will be there. Is it OK to just say 'Mop Floors, clean bathroom and kitchen, and anything else you think needs cleaning if you have time spare'? My house is pretty small.

I have a 2 bedroom flat with 1 bathroom and en-suite, mine does the following in 3 hours:
-bathroom and en suite full clean
-dust everywhere and the skirts
-kitchen full clean
-hoover and mop everywhere

I tidy up pretty well and is easier for her

And every now and then I ask her to clean oven and fridge but I pay extra for it, so I guess you could switch some jobs if you want something specific to be cleaned
