Bulb direct debit not taken?

My direct debit hasn't been taken this month and I'm really not sure why - anyone else the same? Would normally come out about the 28th but still not gone, and when I check my online account it just says my next DD is due end November. Would suit me right this minute to have a month's grace (start a new job in a few weeks) but not if they then have a temper tantrum in a few days and start emailing me about issues...

I have a different supplier but mine didn't take the DD last month after getting my up to date reading and receiving the govt discount and have now re-calculated my (much lower) DD starting this month. Maybe that's what Bulb have done?

I read the other day that they were being taken over by Octopus so maybe it's something to do with that? No more payments to bulb from now on, then at some point it will all be transferred to Octopus.

We went from Avro to Octopus about a year or two and missed a payment in the process. They just increased the DD a little a few months later, to account for the price increase and also pay back the debt we'd built up.

hmmmm - seems unlikely as they've put my DD up and even with the money from govt I'm in debt based on my October bill...

And DD is for £360 (lowest they'd let me set it to - I do need to fix that cause they're overestimating but haven't had a chance yet).

Will see if it comes out tomorrow, although that would be v late for them as everything else that normally comes out after the Bulb DD has come out now!

My October direct debit wasn't taken on the 1st, I contacted bulb and ended up making a top up payment. Just waiting to see if my November payment is taken

Our payment isn't due until 4 Nov. It's showing as pending on my Bulb account, which is normal at this time of the month. Also, showing as due at bank.
