Train strikes

Apols if this has been done before.

Is it worth trying to travel into London the morning after the train strike and expect to get to work for 9am?

I'm actually not keen on a whole week working from home!

Surely it depends where you're travelling from and how long the commute is? Our trains from local station start around 8am generally, the day after a strike which gets to a London station by 9am (takes about 40 min to get to zone 1) but obviously depends whereabout people need to get to if they can get to work by 9am
