A watsap from the above daughter all of 20 mins ago "mum can you unplug the dildo in my bedroom , I don't want to set my room on fire "
What can you possibly say to that ? Lol 😂

Mine is less disturbing but my 2 year old has developed a habit of rolling her eyes and telling adults they are a silly billy whilst doing a little laugh. It's all very terrible village am-dram and makes it impossible to keep a straight face

Only today my very adult son admitted that the admin thing i suggested he do in the summer, that he deemed unnecessary, was, in fact, necessary. Then conceded that hindsight is a wonderful thing and I'm not as daft as I look.

My siblings and I have a very close relationship with my parents and "over share" on lots of aspects of our lives. Your post made me chuckle. I hope that my children feel comfortable enough with me when they're older that we can joke and be open about "taboo" subjects like sex just like I do with my own parents.

My 10 yr old asked me what porn was this week after watching 'nothing to declare' , and also this week I have been asked what a virgin is during the goes wrong show nativity... 😁 my 13 yr old proudly presented me with a card about Santa's sack 😳 ( with a smirk !).

When my son was 4, I tucked him into bed and said 'goodnight'.

I turned around and he said 'night-night fucker' as clear as day.

I just didn't react, but I was shocked!!

My, then, 18 year dd had been with her bf, off and on, for a year. She sent me a text, “I won’t be home tonight mum. I’m staying at bf’s. We have both decided to have sex to see what it’s like. Wish me luck”.

I was truly lost for words for the first time in my life! There’s some things parents don’t need, or want, to know DD.

It must have been good as they are still together 2 years later 😉😊
