Festive things to do in London with toddler

Planning to visit my brother who has recently moved to London with our 18 month old dd in early December.
Visited London before but not with a toddler and not near christmas.
Would like some ideas of festive ideas to do to get into the christmas spirit that will work with a toddler.
We’ll only have a day to wander round, so would be good to make the most of it

There’s a fake snowfall in Covent Garden every hour on the hour from 12:00 - 7:00. It lasts for a good few minutes and my dd loved it last year!
In Hyde Park Winter Wonderland there are a few rides for little ones including a Santa train, helter skelter and the Christmas tree ride, but my dd just loved the lights and watching people ice skating. There’s also a traditional carousel at the Southbank Bavarian Christmas market.

These all sound fantastic, exactly the kind of things I was looking for- thank you!

Department store Christmas windows on Oxford Street. Selfridges is usually good. Then at Oxford Circus turn into Regent Street and see Liberty and Hamley's.
