Properly waterproof and breathable lightweight coat

Can anyone recommend a properly waterproof (including the pockets!) and breathable (so not warm and sweaty!) lightweight coat to wear for walking in the rain please?

Helly Hansen rigging coat. Use without the thermal zip in layer. Not lightweight enough for the summer, but perfect at the moment.

Along the right lines (and the inner fleece addition could be useful for later in the year) but would rather it was a bit shorter - say top of thighs rather than just above the knee. I suffer from hot flushes and get hot walking so it must be really breathable whilst coping with torrential rain.

Try protected species - lovely lightweight stuff bit pricey but they do have offers occasionally

Seasalt do a whole range of coats that are totalled waterproof and don’t make you sweat.

Berghaus walking jackets might fit the bill too, I use mine year round, just layer underneath in winter.

These look really good. And free delivery and returns too. I’m going to order one to try. Thank you very much for the suggestion.

Ditto Seasalt, they're my go-to for waterproof coats.

Expensive north face or Rab or Mammut or Arxteryx

Thank you @Chickenlitter. I am delighted with my protected species coat. Beautifully made, comfortable and completely waterproof.
