Would you go ?

So I am friends with a girl(Sally) whos twin sister' dh is my ex.
They are organizing a birthday party and invited their friends (we all share friends) and I have been invited by my friend (Sally)
My friend's twin sister is now angry with her sister for inviting me .
It is putting me in uncomfortable situation and I dont know if I shoud go .
Sally's twin sister is jealous for what ever reason.
I dont talk to my ex for 7 years, I am married with 3 kids.
They dont have kids.
My dh says I should leave it and not go as the twin sister obviously doesn't want me there .
Would you go ?
At the end of the day it is both of the sisters birthday. I want them to be happy on the day.

No I wouldn’t go as one of the hosts doesn’t want you there, even if it’s not totally rational for her to dislike you, it’s her party and she doesn’t want you there. I’d arrange to do something different with the friend for her birthday.

No I wouldn't go. I'd explain to Sally the reason why. I'd say thank you for inviting me. I'm grateful for the invite but I don't want to spoil the atmosphere if her sister doesn't want me. I'd give Sally a big bunch of flowers and chocs.

I wouldn't want to go to an event where my presence would cause pain to a host or person celebrating. I'd find another way to celebrate my friend's birthday.
