Restaurants Central London

Could anyone suggest a lovely restaurant, not too fancy but for a special meal post wedding (its a registry office do in Camden with 2 friends as witnesses and our children) The children are all teenagers.
We were thinking French, as they will all eat steak and frites, but as its December we need to book now because of Christmas.

I love these 2 places Prix Fixe Brasserie and Mon Plaisir both French in Central London not to fancy but really nice restaurants with great French food.

Balthazar in Covent Garden is lovely or the Ham yard hotel has a great feel and good restaurant.

Balthazar will be beautifully decorated for xmas and has a nice atmosphere.

If you want French in central London, I agree with earlier suggestion that you can’t do better than l’escargot in soho.

Thanks again for everyones suggestions, i am going to try Zedel although can only book online for 6 people so need to check if they can accommodate 9.
Some of you other suggestions look amazing but will not be appreciated enough by the Teens ..
Will have to leave them behind next time

Kerridge’s Bar and Grill is great, and I can imagine teens liking it.

Cafe Du Marche near Smithfield is beautiful and perfect for a wedding celebration

Happy memories of our first anniversary there. Great food and atmosphere.
