I've been fasting so only ate at dinner time.

Chicken and veg soup.

Fish and salad.

Then I felt like I've got a bone stuck in my throat so ate a bit of chicken to try and dislodge it. Hasn't worked.

20g sugar free dark chocolate.

Breakfast- glass of water
Snack- biscuits
Lunch- vegetarian pizza
Snack- more biscuits
Dinner- McDonald's

To be fair it was a travel day, the pizza was a delicious one in a beautiful place, our last meal in Italy before we caught the plan home. McDonald's, only thing we could find easily and still open when we were travelling back from the airport. Have just got in, dreading the scales but the holiday was worth it.

Long lie-in day today so just a couple of crumpets for breakfast/lunch and french stick with cheese and coleslaw for tea, basically - easy not much effort meals - as I can’t be bothered to cook.

crikeybiller · 29/10/2022 00:46

Breakfast - low cal bread/toast and marmite
Lunch - 2 cream Crackers and handful of Grapes
Dinner- 1 slice pizza
Snack- toast and crumpet

Terrible day......

dontgobaconmyheart · 29/10/2022 01:02

Wasn't feeling particularly well so isn't necessarily representative at all but:

Skipped breakfast and had a cup of tea (the Yorkshire Tea jam on toast flavoured one with coconut milk and a sugar, lowbrow heaven)

late lunch/dinner - homemade egg fried rice with some Itsu Veggie Gyoza (the supermarket frozen ones- great for a snack or quick meal), chinese style curry sauce and soy sauce dip on the side.

Small portion of full fat greek yogurt with raspberries and a dash of M&S raspberry coulis to disguise the fact they had probably gone past best.

Another cup of tea with a bit of leftover homemade cake (date and walnut loaf), then a KitKat when that didn't hit the spot.

Lots of coconut water to rehydrate.

2x packets of crisps

Gingerkittykat · 29/10/2022 01:25

I attempted a 24 hour fast yesterday but it turned in 21 hours.

I gave into temptation with someone else going through McDonalds drive through and ate 3 cheese bites and a couple of chips.

Salmon gravlax (from reduced section of Lidl) with 2 slices of bread and some soft cheese.

A mini pepperami and cheese square for a snack.

Not a great day food wise.

FlowerBrooch · 29/10/2022 01:43

Banana
Left over roast pork and applesauce sandwich
Chicken wrap with salad
Greek yogurt with blue berries added

GarfieldsAunty · 29/10/2022 01:54

Breakfast - orange squash (I work from home so the 5 steps from the bedroom to the office room doesn't really get the appetite going!)

Lunch - 2 slices seeded toast with butter and honey

Snack late afternoon - bowl of coco pops

Dinner - baked cherry tomato and pesto risotto with cheese

Late evening - hot chocolate

And many cups of tea throughout the day

JennyWI · 29/10/2022 02:36

I just ate dinner, which is normal for me, it helps to keep my IBS at bay, I've been doing it for years.
Chicken curry, rice, veg pakoras, salad.
Greek yoghurt and honey.
Water to drink all day.

mondaytosunday · 29/10/2022 03:08

Breakfast: one egg, six cherry tomatoes and 50gr smoked salmon and two cups of tea
Lunch: M&S rarebit crumpet with quinoa salad
Dinner: chicken with new potatoes and mixed veg. Two glasses wine.
Snack: almond croissant

Then about an hour ago had a hypo (I'm type 1 diabetic) and so had two snack size snickers. Blood sugars remained low so had a glass of milk and four mini madeleines. Waiting for bloods to get to right level. Hate it when it happens - extra calories I most definitely do not need!

andmostofallyouletyourselfdown · 29/10/2022 03:12

2 fried eggs with beans and brown bread
2 rounds of peanut butter sandwiches brown bread
5 sweet potato pakora (nice but not really pakora) with some leftover McDonald's dips
a bar of chocolate
the last bag of salt and vinegar crisps
had 3 cups of coffee (too much!), one of chocolate, and a redbush tea
later on was dehydrated and downed a gallon* of milk
(*okay probably not a gallon)

We haven't had a shopping delivery in two weeks, can you tell?😕
