Help! Does anyone have velux windows? Mine suddenly won’t lock

Having a nightmare trying to close the windows. They will pull to but won’t actually lock. Is anyone able to look at their mechanism and see what it looks like when the window is open since I think something must have gone wrong with mine

I couldn't shut one of mine.

I opened it, sprayed the mechanism with WD40 and opened and shut the lock a few times with the window open. Then when I closed it I was able to work the mechanism to lock it.

I full seasons worth of atmosphere had just clogged the mechanism

Mine looks like it’s working backwards. It’s like it only locks when the window is open

Could anyone take a photo of their mechanism for me so I can compare
