My 16 year old daughter is having a Halloween party tonight and I'm hiding upstairs! She's invited about 9 people (we live in a small terraced cottage)

Am I absolutely mad?! What do I do to take my mind off stuff? Also I have several emetophobia and am terrified someone us going to throw up ...

If nothing else I'm hoping to rack up a load of mum brownie points!

It’s a gathering, don’t stress

WallaceinAnderland · 28/10/2022 19:06

Why would they throw up?

ODFOx · 28/10/2022 19:08

Call for pizza. One for you and several for them.
Be the pizza hero. Then stay upstairs and pray that no one opens your door.
And yes. You get all the brownie points: from other Mums. Your DD, no matter how lovely, will have forgotten your gift/favour within days. It's how 16 year olds roll.

Aww, that's sweet, kudos to you for letting her. Hate to tell you that someone probably will throw up though 😬 - my teenage daughter tells me there's at least one at every party!

They throw up because they booze, obviously... some of them even preload...
