We've tried the Mitchum Green roll on which worked for his brother but it isn't cutting it!

any suggestions please?

My eldest uses the Mitchum green one and it's fine, but for my youngest the citrusy woman's one actually works better. So that might be worth a try?

Qwaszx · 28/10/2022 17:43

Mitchum anti perspirant. But with a couple of sock changes a day. Stops the smelly arm pits, but it's got to come out somewhere!!

Use soap instead of shower gel it makes a huge difference

Maybe try the sure maximum cream that comes in a box

I use it as I don't find mitchum is very effective

Triple Dry. Sainsbury's and Boots stock it in various forms (spray/roll-on, scented/unscented).

And proper soap under the armpits in the shower - mine uses an antibacterial lavender and tea-tree one, which makes a big difference.

Lynx gold anti white marks is the only one that works for my son,so good I use it too.Must be that particular one though.Theres another Lynx gold but its useless.Must say anti white marks.

Dettol do a good bar soap.

dangermouseisace · 28/10/2022 18:58

Are they giving their pits a proper scrub? Mine said the deodorant “doesn’t work”, but once I’d instructed them to scrub with soap and a flannel (important) then dry, before putting the deodorant on the problem was solved.

PeloFondo · 28/10/2022 19:01

Sure or dove max cream. Applied at night

OakleyStreetisnotinChelsea · 28/10/2022 19:06

Proper soap and nuud.

If he sweats excessively then Driclor, no contest. Read the reviews on Amazon carefully though, as it can sting/itch for the first few days, but once that passed this was the only thing that worked for teenage DS1.

Wash armpits with head and shoulders shampoo and use lynx gold anti white deodorant. Still smells fresh at evening

BobbyBobbyBobby · 28/10/2022 19:19

Deodorant only tried to mask odour.

Anti persistent blocks/stop the sweat and prevents odour forming.

Wash pits with a bar of soap not shower gel it makes a world of difference

Shield soap is ideal for boys and gym goers.

For mine - he’s very active and sweaty and I tried him with my Wild subscription ones as I’d over ordered one month. It works a charm. Now we share the subscription.

I obviously read that back and realised it sounded like we shared the deodorant. :)) I bought him his own case so he has his own!
