What to have for dinner

DH is out tonight with a friend for dinner so it's just me.

What would you have at 24 weeks pregnant when the toddler is in bed for dinner?

Throw some ideas at me - I have none!

My DH and children are out tonight so I'm having a Chinese to my self! Salt and pepper chicken, fried rice and curry sauce - nice little treat for me!

At 24 weeks, I was constantly hungry, and it was the same time of year. I'd have something like cassoulet. Pork, chorizo, white beans, tomatoes, garlic. With brown rice. 😋

A butterflied, tandoori chicken breast, griddled served with a green salad with warm, spiced, roasted cauliflower, pickled carrot, onion and cucumber ribbons and a yoghurt and cucumber dressing

Yum. This sounds so good I’m quite sad I’m not having it tonight.

Shashuka and good bread. Because DH hates eggs so if I’m eating alone I like to squeeze in a good spiced egg option.

@lackadaisicalsheep you sold me at salt and pepper chicken! So a Chinese it is haha

Although some lovely sounding dinners there that I'll defo take note off to add to the weekly recipe list!

Thank you 🤍
