Is it too late in the year to cut the grass?

Not too late at all. I’d do mine but it’s far too wet. Ideally I will
get it done very soon and then that should be it till spring.

It's 18 degrees here. The grass is still growing merrily so it gets cut. And since the leaves have started falling, having the mower chop them and add them to the catcher means I don't need to rake them up. Good value for the effort 🙂

If it's long enough to need cutting then it's fine to cut it.

It's so warm where I am that the bloody lawn won't stop growing and I am having to mow every week in between the rain showers.

Kenton · 28/10/2022 16:27

Great! I'll do it shortly. Thanks.

DH did ours last week. It needs doing again already. It's been glorious here this week (south Manchester). I've had 2 days in the garden pottering in the sunshine.
