Any other school off next week for mid term?

DS is 8yo only child and we are off to the Canaries on Saturday as his school is closed for half-term. However I'm starting to worry that no other schools are off at this time and we'll be poolside all week by ourselves. Starting to regret the trip. Any other schools off?

Many Welsh schools have half term next week.

I'm sure that there will be other schools in Europe off next week.

I wouldn't be worried it sounds like heaven!
Mine are off next week although we're not going away.
I'm sure there'll be some others there, I went away just with DH a few weeks ago nowhere near a school holiday and there were loads of families there, I was thankful for the 18+ terrace!

I'm very glad to hear this. Of course family time is fun but, especially at that age, a buddy or two can really make a holiday extra special.....and a little more restful
