I haven't had broadband for 8 weeks - Sky - help!

Sky have messed me around for coming up to 2 months.

I've had four engineers out to "install" broadband and each time they give me a different excuse as to why they can't do it.

Now apparently I need scaffolding. They were meant to be coming out today but I got a text in the morning cancelling.

Called Sky and they said they'd call me back on Monday with an "update."

Has anyone had issues like this before? I wfh and I'm using my mobile data but it's really not fast enough for what I need.

What can I say to make them take me seriously? I feel like they just fob me off every time.

Have you had broadband at the property before?

Same question as a previous poster. Have you had broadband before and was I t with someone other than Virgin?

Basically all UK broadband to homes are either via BT openreach or virgin. If you were with anyone but virgin before, you don’t need an engineer to install broadband. The scaffold sounds like it’s about the sky satellite dish.

I did self install for broadband and it really is just plug in the router into the phone socket.
