I'd like to buy some matching earrings. Thought they'd be easier to find if I had a name for the stones. Many thanks.

Photos aren't great. They're a pinky/green depending on the light. The bracelet wasn't expensive but I love it.

Gemstones can be tricky from photos, but that looks like it could be labradorite.

Try decadorn - they have some

NameChangedOverOut · 27/10/2022 17:30

I'm quite confident that it's abalone shell - look on Google images for abalone shell and also labradorite (though I'm pretty sure it's the former)

SareBear87 · 27/10/2022 17:51

Looks like Labradorite but it could be a glass mother of Pearl imitation. Very pretty though!

If the stones have striations or needle-type inclusions they're probably real stones. Blue/purple/green colours are really common so I don't doubt you'll easily find some matching earrings

GuyFawkesDay · 27/10/2022 17:52

Hard to tell. Could be a nice labradorite but the pics aren't clear.

LuciferRising · 27/10/2022 17:54

I thought labradorite but isn't clear.

That the colour changes depending on how the light hits it, I'd guess at opal.

Montague22 · 27/10/2022 17:59

I think opal

Pixiedust1234 · 27/10/2022 17:59

My mother had a bracelet with that in and we never knew either. If you find out for sure, please update here. I think its lovely.

Thanks for the replies.

I think NameChangedOverOut is right in saying abalone shell. Lots of pretty earring to choose from. Many thanks!
