Coming off Desogestral pull

Hiya!

Sorry if this is in the wrong place!

I have been on the pill since I had my son 11 years ago, I am 39. They changed my pill in December last year from Dianette to desogestral due to my age and I havnt had a period since. I am not on the pill for contraception as both my husband and I are as infertile as you can get and needed lots of IVF with immune therapy to achieve our boy - I was actually put on the Dianette to deal with my bad skin.

This pill is making me feel sluggish and crap to be honest and I think I would like to totally come off the pill altogether but I am worried there will be a million side effects to doing so that are worse than the ones I have now!

Has anyone come off the pill and if so, how did you find it?

I didn't notice any side effects coming off this pill but I had constant non stop bleeding on it so I was just grateful when they stopped.

You might have a period when you come off it but that should be it

I just stopped taking it last summer. No side effects.

Thank you all so much! I'm relieved I'm not about to whither up and perish!
