If you’ve recently had Covid

… how long after you first suspected you had it did you test positive? Just because I feel poorly, similar to a first bout with Covid but testing negative yesterday and today. Important meeting later - I’m chairing- with people who are vulnerable. If it’s likely to turn into a positive test I’d cancel but would not if it’s just a cold.

I wouldn't go if hey are genuinely vulnerable. Spreading whatever it is, covid or not, isn't the considerate choice in that scenario.

Can you wear a mask or the meeting be made virtual?

Straight away here, but my first symptom was fever/chills. Friends who started with more 'coldy' symptoms took 48h.

I woke up this morning at 4am feeling rubbish, didn't think we had any tests but I've just found one and it's got a faint line so pretty much immediately, imagine by later on today it will be darker.

My symptoms are scar by throat, runny nose and a lot of pressure in my head.

Argh scratchy!

If you're using the kits with just Nasal swabs, then I'd suggest you get some with the throat swabs. DH felt grotty last week and kept getting negative Nadal swab results. He then found a kit with a throat swab and it was positive. He used both kits on the same day.

2 days to test positive for me after sore throat on day 1 and then body aches and fever + chills day 2
