I thought it looked photoshopped the first time The Sun posted it and everyone fell on the floor spontaneously urinating. Just googled it (2016) and it looks like Homebase never got back to them with "a comment" so I'd say probably fake.

I thought Homebase were no longer with us TBH. But I have seen all sorts of initialled things arranged into swear words in places like The Range and even M&S. Must be really tiresome for the staff.

I do it in Tesco with their mugs...although some letters (U mainly) aren't available.

No Homebase near me anymore, unfortunately, or I'd absolutely do it if I'm being told not to.

If the display was big enough they could have put the notice in candles! 😀
