Job dilemma?

I have a permanent job I love although it can be extremely stressful especially at the moment it is getting worse and worse... (NHS sadly) the hours mean sometimes I do not see my LO for 3 days.

I may have the opportunity of a permanent job with part time flexible working hours and I would also keep doing occasional shifts within my current job to top up the wage(and because I love it). But I don't know if I would "love" the possible new job?

Wwyd?
Is it right sometimes to do things for convenience/best for my family? Even though I have already found a job I love... is it worthwhile taking the risk? I know I could always go back if things didn't work out.

Absolutely it’s ok to take something because it suits your circumstances. If you can go back to your normal job at the end of it all, what do you have to lose?

I agree with Gemstar2

The fact you will be doing shifts to keep your registration and keep up with any changes, means you can pick it back up once the dc get older and stay up later !
